The Monday Nite Car Club
The Monday Nite Car Club is a group of classic car enthusiasts. We are members of the San Diego Association of Car Clubs and the Historic Highway 80 Organization.
Our club is a social group. We welcome enthusiasts of all makes, models, and years of classic cars or trucks, whether they are hot rods, restored, modified, or projects in progress.
Our club revived the annual "Run to the Hills" car show in Pine Valley, CA. We also put on progressive dinners, picnics, car cruises, and provide cars for parades and special events. So, whether you like to "cruise 'em, race 'em, or show 'em", we invite you to join us for fun, friendship, and frivolity!
We support and cruise the old highways of San Diego County.
The Monday Nite Car Club Foundation
The Monday Nite Car Club itself is a social organization which is an extension of the Monday Nite Car Club Foundation. Membership in the foundation is separate from membership of the club. Although the car club exists as a separate entity, the true nature of the entire organization is to be involved with, and give back to, the local community by organizing car shows and other events for charitable causes. That's where the foundation steps in.
The Monday Nite Car Club Foundation is an nonprofit public benefit corporation, and is not organized for the private gain of any person. The specific purposes of the foundation are:
To promote, foster, and encourage activities that improve the quality of life of children and youth in San Diego County.
To assist existing charitable organizations that help those in need and at risk in San Diego County.
To promote, foster, and encourage the programs or activities at local public schools.
